The Divorce PartyThe Divorce Party by Jennifer Hayward
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Lily wants a divorce even though she loves her husband. It is time to end it she believes she can't take any more of the high society judgements. Ricardo doesn't want a divorce to him his marriage is far from over. So he is not giving up without a fight though it will be a fight for his love. He makes a stipulation of sorts with Lily to give him time to woo her again. In the process they both learn more about each other, as well as learn to be more open to each other. It is a lovely story of overcoming relationship issues to save a loving and passionate marriage. I highly recommend this book.

Reckless

Reckless (Renegades, #1)Reckless by Skye Jordan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is from an author I have not read before. I will say though that this is an author I will be reading again. I loved Reckless in the best way possible. It has the kind of sex scenes that I just love, the characters Lexi and Jax connect on one of the deepest levels. Lexi is a control freak about her life and career. She let her guard down one time and it almost cost her. She has worked for everything she has, she is my kind of girl. She did not have much growing up and but made sure she would as an adult. Though she is missing something from her life at the moment in the story. Her best friend thinks maybe it is hot sex, and well maybe it is but Lexi is careful. Though one fateful trip to New York changes that. Jax is the actor turned stuntman who is used to all his hook ups getting with him for their gain. Lexi doesn't want that she wants a hook up where the room is dark and Jax won't know her. After that night they both can't stop thinking of each other. Also Lexi gets her muse back and designs some awesome stuff. She and Jax learn that sometimes you just gotta take what you want to be happy.

niv pink bible

I got the NIV Pink Bible for review from Booksneeze.com for an honest review. This bible is two toned pink, and is slim line version. This is a special bible for those who have been affected by breast cancer. There are nine beautiful pages of prayers, as well as reflections and encouragement. These prayers touch base on the feelings many women go through during these heartbreaking times. What is really nice about this bible is it could be for that woman who has survived, just found out she has, or even a family member of one of those women. Or even that woman like myself who does not have breast cancer but has found a lump. That woman who is going through the process to find out if the lump she found was breast cancer or not. Yes I know it is maybe not the same as for those woman who have survived, surviving, or watching a loved one get through breast cancer. From experience it is still a very scary time. All I did was cry, pray, and pray some more. I even went on autopilot for awhile during that month and half. Also I had two loved ones live through breast cancer, and ultimately lost the battle. It was a hard thing to watch. I did a lot of praying for them, and just helping them anyway I could. Like some of these pages said, there were times it was hard for them and then there were times. They had the grace, and courage only God could have provided. I was blessed to know them and blessed to have been in their lives. This bible is a must have for any woman who has lived through breast cancer whether as a family member of said woman, or that woman who has or is living through this terrible disease.

got this bible from Booksneeze for an honest review. The Home school Mom's Bible is a great bible for mom's who home school. It gives a devotional every few pages. It lets you know at the bottom of the page what page to find the next devotional. This is most definitley a bible for mom's who home school as it only focuses on that. With each devotional it gives a verse in the bible, and a small thought/prayer. I was a tad dissapointed that there are no study guides, maps, or study notes to reflect upon. I had thought maybe it would give more ideas or help with how to home school christian children in todays society. It has a very nice cheer full cover and is in a font that is easy to read mostly. I don't really think this will be a good bible for me for daily use. Although if you are a mom who home schools and whats a bible just for a devotional than this may be the bible for you.

If You Were Mine (The Sullivans, #5)If You Were Mine by Bella Andre
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have to say that I have come to love the Sullivans thanks to Bella Andre. I want to read about all of them over and over. Zach is the middle son of the Sullivans and is the one he himself feels is the most likely to end up like his dad. It seems that the family does not know he feels this way; except maybe his mother. He is asked to take care of his soon to be nieces dog. A friend thinks he needs some help and enlists Heather. Zach has some issues as he has decided to not get in a committed relationship whether with a woman or even a poor little puppy. But Heather comes to help out with the puppy and then Zach decides he wants to know her more. Heather has decided long ago a relationship is not for her. Not after seeing how her father treated and still treats her mother. The lies her father told her and the fact that her mother, pretends everything is perfect. Well it was just too much for the young Heather and she became a cutter. She over came that terrible time but she is guarded about relationships. Even though she is attracted to Zach a lot more than she wants to admit. Though it does not take the two long to hook up, and start saying I love you. They both had to over come their personal horrors/issues. I think Bella wrote this very well and I loved how she shows us how they both leaned on each other. To help with the others sorrows and problems, and what is even more romantic is that they learned to accept the other as they were flaws and all.

Shadowed (Dark Protectors, #6)Shadowed by Rebecca Zanetti
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is the second book in the Dark Protectors series I have read. I met Jase in the previous book I read in this series. Jase Kayrs has been through a lot having been tortured by his enemies. He is not the same man as before, his brothers tiptoe around him. Which upsets him to no end, he wishes it were not like that. Then he is asked to become mate to Brenna Dunne, to help save her from the poison that is slowly killing her. He agrees because, as her mate he will get access to her powers. Which may also help him regain some of his powers from before his capture. Can the mating save them both, can they fall in love. When Jase finds out how many of the witches and his enemies want Brenna dead. He decides she should live with him. Jase and Brenna go through much, and find out some hard truths. Brenna needs help to control her powers as they are re-emerging, Jase is the man she needs to help her. Jase wants revenge on those who tortured him, at whatever the cost. At least it seems that way but then Jase realizes, he is nothing with his Brenna. I love how the two find their selves and each other. They both realize that their love is strong and has bonded them forever.
